A few more pictures.. couldn't get them all on the last post.

More Daisy and Olive

It is official, Olive actually does like Daisy. Whew! For a little bit there we had thought we had destroyed Olive by bringing this cute little terror into our home. I have their dog bed in my office so they can be my office mates during the day (although entertaining as they are sadly they are not very good at filing). Can't help but take a few pictures when they cuddle up together for a nap, it is so darn cute. Curious why Daisy is wearing a wristband? It is a doggy ace bandage, she took at tumble down the stairs earlier this week. It is off now and she is fine, but it was rather a dramatic experience at the time.

Raining in Philadelphia today and is supposed to keep on going until late in the day this Wednesday.. Our April showers have followed us into May. The backyard is a jungle, will have to take some pictures of Daisy navigating the high grass.

Lazy Daisy

This is Daisy. She is the newest member to the C&M household and is one funny puppy. We picked her up this past Tuesday from a women who runs a farm north of Harrisburg and breeds Australian Cattle dogs as a hobby. She has two females and a male and had two litters at once, which caused for some serious puppy mania when we were there. Although the first few days were rather rough on Olive (who was rather happy being an the one and only dog in the house) she has now taken to Daisy quite well. They play and pester each other and stay pretty close to each other most of the time. Daisy's favorite past times are sleeping and chewing on shoes. She also has no fear and has already figured out how to climb up the stairs and has jumped from the edge of our bed three times. Luckily she is a hardy little thing.

I have thrown some more pictures up on flickr, take a look.

I know I know, I promised that I would blog today and so to keep my promise here I am. But I am tired and have had a full day, so this post is more about pictures and less about words.

So as promised, here are some pictures of the new shop.. There is much to tell and more pictures yet to be taken, but this is a good place to start.

C & R - Hope your birthday celebrations were fun this week. Now you are old enough to buy cigarettes, very monumental birthday. And I only recommend buying them, the smoking not as good..

Love and miss you both.

So mom has a new gizmo on her site that lets you see how long it has been since people have updated their blogs. Turns out it has been four weeks since I touched mine last. Wanted to get something on there so I don't look like such a slacker.

Thought I would throw up this hilarious picture of the dog.. I was trying to take her picture and she caught onto the wrist strap on the camera. What a goof ball.

It feels like two years ago now, but Chris and I were able to sneak away for a mini-vacation over the Labor Day. We spent a night in St. Michaels MD (a quaint little ship building town on the Chesapeake Bay) and then made our way to Towson MD to visit our good friends the Williams. We had a good time and had a chance to breathe, which made us realize that we haven't been doing much in the way of that back at home. Unfortunately I forgot the camera for the St. Michaels part of the trip but Allison had us covered when we were at their house. They have entered into puppy mania also and Olive was able to play with their little Burmese Mountain dog Weezie. I say little because Weezie is only three months now and probably around 25 or so pounds, but in another year or so she massive! She is so relaxed, very easy going.. Not at all like our Olive. It was fun to watch them together, they wrestled with each other the entire time. And it was great to see Grace and Meghan, who are getting so very big (yes cliche but so true). I wish we were able to see them more often but it sure makes these rare visits more special.

More Olive.

Thought I would put up some more Olive pics..
Man does she love using the dinning room for her own private bathroom. If I take my eyes off of her for just a second, she is sneaking her way in there. She is pretty classy that way, using the one formal room in our house for her loo. It is a dang good thing that she is cute!
